The purpose of the job

Working as a care assistant at Baal-Perazim Care Services Ltd. will be essential to our goal of delivering excellent, person-centred care that improves our clients’ independence and general well-being. In order to foster independence and guarantee that their requirements are satisfied with respect and dignity, you will give clients the necessary care and assistance in their homes.

Principal Duties

  • Assist with personal care tasks like dressing, toileting, and washing.
  • Assist clients with transfers and mobility while maintaining their safety.
  • When needed, help with feeding and meal preparation.
  • As per the client care plan, administer or promptly administer medicine.
  • Provide clients with emotional support and company.
  • Perform little housekeeping duties to keep the space tidy and cosy.
  • Keep care records current and correct.
  • Observe care plans and notify the proper team members of any changes in a client’s condition.
  • Follow infection control procedures and health and safety guidelines.
  • Cooperate with families, support systems, and other care providers.

Essential Conditions

  • A driver who has access to a vehicle is required.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience providing care in a UK home.
  • The ability to work in the UK.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Patient, kind, and dedicated to providing top-notch care.
  • Flexibility in working, including on the weekends and in the nights.
  • Knowledge of person-centred approaches, dignity in care, and protection.
  • Desired Standards
  • Health and Social Care SVQ Level 2 or 3 (or a readiness to work towards this level).
  • Knowledge of electronic medication administration records, or eMAR, systems.
  • Familiarity with the regulations in Scotland regarding in-home care.

COS Visa Sponsorship

We also provide Skilled Worker visa sponsorship (COS) for eligible candidates under the Home Office sponsorship scheme.
