Title of Position: Care Assistant Our lovely 40-bed residential care facility, which is situated in Taunton in a peaceful area of Bishops Hull, offers assistance to those who are getting older. We are seeking a kind individual that will integrate well with our team and is capable of caring for others.
Duties:
- Give each person compassionate, dignified personal attention and support.
- Help with everyday life tasks, such as clothing, grooming, bathing, and using the restroom.
- Help with meals and offer dietary assistance
- Accompany people to events or appointments
- Offer people emotional support and companionship.
- Keep track of and report any modifications to the person’s condition.
Requirements:
- While not necessary, prior experience in a comparable position is preferred.
- A kind and compassionate disposition
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
