Overview of the Job
To join our team, we are looking for an automotive mechanic that is committed and skilled. The ideal applicant would be passionate about providing our clients with outstanding service and have solid technical knowledge. You will be in charge of identifying, fixing, and maintaining a range of automobiles as an automotive mechanic, making sure they run effectively and securely.
Duties
- Use diagnostic tools and diagrams to identify and fix vehicle problems.
- Carry out standard maintenance procedures like tyre rotations, brake inspections and oil changes.
- Assemble and disassemble car parts as necessary for maintenance.
- Make efficient use of power and hand tools to finish repairs.
Maintain and repair equipment to guarantee peak performance. - Clearly communicate with customers about their car needs and repair options to deliver exceptional customer service.
- When necessary, carry out heavy lifting while making repairs.
- Keep your workspace neat and orderly while following safety procedures.
Experience
- It is ideal if you have demonstrated expertise as an automotive mechanic or in a related position.
- strong mechanical background and aptitude for diagnosing and fixing a range of vehicle systems.
- Although not necessary, welding process knowledge is beneficial.
- Proficiency in the efficient use of power and manual tools in a workshop environment.
- Outstanding customer service abilities and the capacity to properly explain technical details to clients.
- the capacity to stand for long periods of time during work hours and move heavy objects.

Salary: between £30,000.00 and £32,000.00 annually
