We are looking for a Barista that is personable and works quickly to join our lively team. The best applicant would love providing great customer service and making sure that everyone feels welcome. This job includes making and serving high-quality drinks, keeping things clean, and making sure that food safety regulations are met. Having experience is helpful but not necessary, as you will get training to help you do well in this fast-paced job.
Duties (Assistance manager/ Barista UK Visa Sponsorship)
Make and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks, such as coffee, tea and speciality drinks, while making sure they are always the same and of high quality.
Give great customer service by accepting orders, answering enquiries, and being courteous with customers.
Use coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other tools in a safe and effective way.
Keep the work environment clean by following food safety rules and cleaning surfaces and utensils.
Use the till system to handle cash transactions correctly and use simple arithmetic to figure out how much change to provide and how much to record in sales records.
Make sure that supplies are always available so that shifts go smoothly.
Make sure you manage your time well so that you can serve customers quickly during busy times while still providing excellent service.
What you need
It would be helpful to have worked as a barista before, but it’s not necessary. What matters most is that you want to learn.
Know the rules for food safety to make sure that cleanliness is always followed.
Experience handling customers quickly and with good communication skills.
Basic cooking skills to help with small food items when needed.
Good time management skills to set the right order of work during busy times.
Ability to do basic calculations correctly for managing stock and making sales.
To do well in this job, you need to have a good attitude, be dependable, and love giving customers great experiences.
