To help the Lead Barista keep up high levels of service and coffee quality while also taking on other duties like teaching, managing stock, and talking to guests.


Duties (Barista Jobs UK Visa Sponsorship)

Making and serving coffee

Make sure that all coffee and tea drinks meet Qima Cafe’s standards.

Help and training

Teach junior baristas how to make coffee, how to work efficiently, and how to sell more.
When the Lead Barista is not available, take charge of the bar shifts.


Stock and upkeep

Check the levels of bar stock and let us know when they are low.

In the absence of the Lead Barista, take up the duties of buying and managing stock.

Help with cleaning equipment and counting stock once a week.


Talking to Guests

Talk to customers about where the coffee comes from, how it’s made, and what’s on the menu.

Keep up the pace, precision, and quality during busy times.


Requirements

You must have worked as a barista before and know a lot about how to make coffee and how to serve meals.

Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS can make transactions go more smoothly.

Great customer service abilities and the ability to greet guests in a friendly and professional way.

Showed that you can handle a lot of different responsibilities well in a busy café or store.

Knowing how to handle food safely, how to handle money, and how to do basic maths for cash handling and retail maths.

Good in talking to people and working together as a team.

£14–15.5 an hour plus tronc and a bonus (OTE 34,200) for a 45-hour contract
