The India Young Professionals Scheme visa ballot dates for February 2025 have been revealed. Today, the ballot for the upcoming India Young Professionals Scheme was revealed. The opportunity to live, work, and study in the UK for a maximum of two years is available to eligible Indian nationals between the ages of 18 and 30. 3,000 Indian applicants will be able to travel to the UK under the Young Professionals Scheme (YPS) as part of the UK and India’s post-Brexit trade deal negotiations. On February 18, 2025, the next India Young Professionals Scheme ballot will open at 2:30 PM India Standard Time and finish on February 20, 2025, again at 2:30 PM India Standard Time. The India Young Professionals Scheme visa has 3,000 spots available overall in 2025. The majority of the spots will be available in this year’s first ballot. The Young Professionals Scheme: How to Join

What occurs if you are selected for a visa under the Young Professionals Scheme?

To be eligible for a YPS visa, applicants must show that they have £2,530 in personal savings.

Those who are accepted will receive a 24-month visa. During this time, participants are free to enter, exit, and re-enter the UK.

You can study (certain courses require the Academic Technology Approval Scheme), work in most jobs, work for yourself, or even start your own business as long as the space is rented, the equipment is under £5,000, and there are no employees. With your visa, you are not allowed to work as a professional athlete, remain longer, get government assistance, or bring family members to the UK.

How may UK citizens use the Young Professionals Scheme to apply for a visa to India?

The program is a bilateral agreement that allows qualified UK graduates between the ages of 18 and 30 to visit and work in India for a period of two years.
