A crucial component of the NHS’s patient care model is the role of Healthcare Support Workers. In addition to supporting personal care and spending time with patients, they also do technical duties including measuring a patient’s temperature.

What is included in the program

As you progress through our program, you will master the 15 Standards of the Care Certificate, gaining knowledge on how to attend to your patients’ everyday needs, assist with infection control, and function as a member of the NHS healthcare team. This includes helping RNs and other medical professionals care for patients’ physical and personal needs, including hygiene.
