Transport Clerk – UK Visa Sponsorship Available
Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Transport Clerk to join our logistics team. This critical position will organise transportation activities, ship & receipt documentation and provide seamless communication throughout the supply chain. Your proactive attitude and excellent organisational abilities will contribute to the optimisation of our freight operations, the efficiency of our supply chain and accurate record keeping. This is a paid role and an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic logistics environment where you will make a direct impact on the performance of operations.
Responsibilities
Use transportation management systems (TMS) to efficiently schedule, track and document shipments.
Accurately enter data in systems such as AS400 and SyteLine to perform shipping, receiving and inventory adjustments.
Work with third party logistics (3PL) to schedule pickups, deliveries and freight movements.
Assist with shipping and receiving, including on-time shipments and deliveries, and checking shipping information.
Professionally communicate with carriers, vendors and internal departments via phone and email.
Review transportation data to find potential for process improvement and cost savings.

Abilities
Hands on experience with transport management systems (TMS), AS400 and SyteLine for efficient logistics operations.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procedures for shipping & receiving.
Experience in coordinating freight services with third-party logistics (3PL) companies.
Excellent analytical ability to analyse transportation data and improve processes.
Communicate well and interface comfortably with carriers, vendors and internal organisations.
Accuracy in data entry associated with shipping documents and inventory records.
Ability to multi-task efficiently with a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
Good typing abilities for fast data entry; Knowledge of phone etiquette for professional communication.
