Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful applicant will have a strong experience in early childhood education and a passion to work with children. As a Nursery Practitioner you will be at the heart of establishing a safe, supportive and exciting environment for children to learn and flourish. Your responsibilities will include organising and leading educational activities, promoting the wellness of each child and developing strong relationships with children and their families.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver stimulating education sessions suited to the needs of each kid.
To supervise and help children during playtime and ensure their safety and wellness at all times.
Discuss your child’s progress and development with parents.
Collaborate with colleagues to build a pleasant team atmosphere that encourages professional progress.
Coordinate daily routines such as eating times, nap times and activities.
Monitor and evaluate children’s development and maintain correct records.
Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained within the nursery environment.
Attend staff meetings and training to develop your professional abilities.
Experience
Experience working with children in a nursery or other childcare environment is needed.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a similar profession is desirable.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage small teams efficiently.
Good communication abilities (written and verbal) in English, to interact with children, parents and colleagues.
