The Function
We are seeking a committed Assistant Service Manager to become a member of our Fulbourn supported living service’s leadership team. This position is quite unique since you will be working with a team to give person-centred assistance to a guy with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) who is constantly joyful, enjoys having fun, enjoys hearing stories, and has a fantastic sense of humour.
Principal Duties
to guarantee the provision of person-centred assistance by managing a staff team and providing coaching.
to guarantee that all services always have a safe number of employees.
to maintain constant communication with the family and friends of the individuals we assist, as well as to communicate closely with other experts.
to serve as a mentor and role model for employees.
to take on on-call duties (one week every three months) once your probationary period is up.
Conditions
Licence: Having access to your own vehicle that you are willing to use for business purposes is a prerequisite for obtaining a full UK driving licence.
Flexibility: Different work schedules, such as the need for sleep-ins and alternating weekends.
