The Borrowdale Gates Hotel is looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our hard-working kitchen staff. We are searching for a talented person to help us maintain our excellent culinary standards at our 2 Rosette restaurant, which delivers an amazing dining experience.
Duties: (Hotel Chef Jobs UK 2026)
Make and create high-quality food that meets our 2 Rosette criteria.
Make sure that all the food is made to the best quality and looks good.
Help the Head Chef and Sous Chef come up with new dishes and menus.
Give inventive ideas to help keep the restaurant’s good name and make it better.
Keep the kitchen as clean and hygienic as possible.
Keep an eye on portion control and waste to make sure everything runs well and makes money.
Follow all health and safety rules, such as keeping the kitchen clean and safe for eating.
Make sure that all tools are used safely and kept in good shape.
Requirements:
Experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-end restaurant or hotel before.
A lot of understanding about cooking methods and best practices.
Love making great food with an emphasis on taste and presentation.
Ability to get things done quickly and well when under pressure.
Great at talking to people and working with them.
