To make sure that clinics have all the information they need to work well and to keep track of clinical activity using the right hospital system
To help the department clinics run smoothly by controlling the flow of patients while also keeping the department’s health and safety in mind, including cleanliness, information governance, and fire safety.
Be able to set priorities for your own clinical work and manage junior HCAs who report to you directly.

Use your advanced communication skills to greet patients as they arrive at the clinic and do any necessary diagnostic procedures, like urine tests, blood pressure tests, spirometry, and BMI tests.
Make sure that patient notes are verified before appointments and that the right results are provided.
At every stage of their journey, keep patients informed, explain things, give advise, and support them when needed. If a question is too complicated, send it up to senior staff.
Keep an eye on the health of patients in the department and let the department know if anything changes.
Set up transportation and interpreters for patients.
Make sure that the equipment is always in good functioning order and that the safety of the patients is always protected. Knowing how to report an event and what to do in an emergency
Chaperone patients who are having intimate exams or who ask for it

Be a good example by following and making sure that good practices are followed and showing evidence-based practice.
Evaluate and help junior workers do their jobs, giving them the right amount of work and responsibility.
