We are looking to add a knowledgeable and meticulous IT consultant to our team. Principal Duties:

  • Client assessment: Examine the client’s current infrastructure, business procedures, and IT systems to find problems and areas that could use improvement.
  • Strategy Development: Work together with clients to establish strategic roadmaps and IT goals. Examine new developments in technology and market trends, then suggest solutions (such cloud migration or system upgrades) that support corporate goals.
  • Project management: Arrange and oversee IT projects from start to finish. Establish deadlines, assign resources, define scope, and monitor spending. Organise progress meetings, coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders, and modify plans in response to client input and project risks. ​
  • Implementing solutions involves designing, setting up, and deploying IT systems (hardware, software, or network solutions) in accordance with specifications. Manage system integrations and installs; carry out testing and debugging; Procedures for data sanitisation, performance optimisation, and incorporating client-inputted changes.
  • Support & Documentation: If necessary, give client employees and the internal corporate team technical support, training, and thorough documentation (user manuals, system guides). Assure a seamless transition to new systems and record maintenance best practices.
  • Assess existing systems and suggest upgrades or substitutions.
  • Help with the design, integration, and testing of the system architecture.
  • Create and deliver technical reports, proposals, and project documentation.
  • Verify adherence to best practices, security guidelines, and industry requirements.
  • Work together with teams from other departments, such as developers, project managers, and cybersecurity specialists.

Qualifications: Needed:

  • Although not required, a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology is preferred.
  • One or more years of expertise with data processing solutions, systems analysis, or comparable technical responsibilities in the IT industry
  • Strong knowledge of the servers, databases, networking, and cloud computing components of IT infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with programs like AWS, Microsoft 365, Windows/Linux, etc.
  • Creating networks, software, and hardware IT solutions that support corporate goals.
  • Directing the adoption of new technology, offering continuing assistance, and resolving technical problems.

Pay and Benefits:

£33,500 year is a competitive compensation that depends on experience.

  • Knowledge of transport management solutions, such as SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, or CTS.
  • The capacity to apply optimisation techniques and troubleshoot performance problems.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • SAP Basis certification, which is optional but desirable.
